Our Story
Spoof Defender was born from frustration. We were running an affiliate program for our SaaS product and noticed something strange: our cost-per-click was rising, but we couldn't figure out why. Our organic traffic was declining, but our brand searches were increasing.
Then we discovered the truth: affiliates were bidding on our brand keywords in Google Ads. They were stealing our organic traffic and getting paid commissions for it. We were literally paying people to hijack our own customers.
We tried to catch them manually. We searched Google for our brand terms, clicked on ads, followed redirects, and tried to trace affiliate IDs. It was exhausting, time-consuming, and impossible to scale. We were losing money every single day we didn't have a solution.
So we built Spoof Defender. We automated everything that used to be manual: scanning search engines, following redirect chains, extracting affiliate IDs, matching against our affiliate list, and alerting us to violations. What used to take hours now happens automatically, 24/7.
Now we help other SaaS companies fight the same fight. Because no one should have to pay for traffic that was already theirs.
