What is Spoof Defender?
Spoof Defender is a SaaS tool that detects affiliate fraud in your partner program. We monitor search engines for affiliates who bid on your brand terms, identify them through URL parameter tracking, and alert you with complete evidence so you can stop paying unearned commissions.
How does affiliate fraud work?
Affiliates bid on your brand keywords in Google Ads. When users search for your company name, the affiliate's ad appears above your organic results. If the user clicks and converts, the affiliate gets credit and you pay them a commission—even though they did nothing to earn it. You're paying for traffic that was already yours.
Why can't I see this in Google Ads?
Google Ads shows you your own campaigns, not your affiliates' campaigns. Affiliates run their own separate ad accounts, so their bids on your brand terms are invisible in your Google Ads dashboard. You only see the symptoms: rising CPC and declining organic traffic.

How do you detect violators?
We continuously scan search engines for your branded keywords. When we find ads, we click through and follow the complete redirect chain to the final destination. We extract URL parameters, cookies, and local storage data to identify which affiliate is behind the ad. Then we match that against your approved affiliate list.
Which search engines do you monitor?
We primarily monitor Google Search, which handles 90%+ of search traffic. We can also monitor Bing and other regional search engines depending on your target countries.
How often do you scan?
We scan continuously throughout the day. New violations are detected and reported in near real-time, typically within hours of the ad appearing.
Do you handle daisy-chaining?
Yes! We follow the complete redirect chain, no matter how many hops. Affiliates often use multiple redirects to hide their identity. We track through all of them to find the final destination and extract the affiliate ID.

We support all major Partner Management Systems: PartnerStack, Rewardful, FirstPromoter, Reditus, Impact, and more. We're constantly adding new integrations. If your PMS isn't listed, contact us—we likely still support it through our universal URL tracking.
How hard is setup?
Incredibly easy. Most users are up and running in 5-10 minutes. You provide your branded keywords, connect your PMS with one click, and configure your target countries. No developer required.
Do I need developer help?
Nope! Our setup is designed for non-technical users. If you want to use our API or set up custom webhooks, developer help might be useful, but it's completely optional.
